*Price is Approximate?

You may have noticed that some items on our website are marked as "*Price is approximate. Call for details." Here’s what that means and why it appears on certain items.

Short answer: Most of the time, the listed price is accurate. Occasionally, the price may vary slightly—especially for foreign publications. In rare cases, the difference could be more significant, but we will always contact you before billing if there is any meaningful change.

Long answer (for those interested): For most major publishers, we receive regular data updates that include current pricing and product details. This allows us to keep those items very accurate at all times.

However, some publishers (we wish they made this easier!) either do not provide structured data or are located overseas. For international publishers, prices can fluctuate due to exchange rates and shipping costs, which can change without notice. We do our best to keep pricing as close as possible based on the most current information available.

For publishers without electronic data, we enter product information manually. Because of this, we may not be immediately aware of price or availability changes until we place an order. The disclaimer simply lets you know there is a small chance the price may have changed since it was last updated.

If the difference is minor, we will process your order as expected to avoid delays. If there is a significant change, we will always contact you first for approval.
