Hallelujah, He's Risen!

Accompaniment - ["Piano"]

A call-and-response piece that truly celebrates the Risen Lord! Perfect for the Easter season but appropriate for other occasions as well, this work features elaborate harmonic progressions in the introductory and interlude material that resemble current trends in contemporary Black gospel music (that some players may find challenging.) The regular melodic response of the verses allows for improvisation by the song leader as the spirit of celebration and rejoicing moves through the assembly.
