For the Music of Creation

Accompaniment - ["Piano"]

This joyous piece is appropriate for services where the focus is on creation, music and singing, trust and unity, and for general worship. Set to the uplifting text of the late hymn writer Shirley Erena Murray of New Zealand, the stanzas are scored for unison, two-part and SATB, with the final stanza employing a descant of “alleluias” above the lilting melody line.
