Ride On, King Jesus

Accompaniment - ["Reduction"]

This familiar spiritual puts into words the joyful admonition among believers whose goal is to live so that they will make it into heaven after their life’s journey. The contrast between f and p throughout the piece should be sharp, clear and dramatic. The tempo is driving, though never rushed, erupting into a gloriously joyful ending.
