Carol of the Nativity

Accompaniment - ["Piano"]

“Carol of the Nativity” is a pensive consideration of the mystery of the Incarnation; the mystery of Jesus’ birth to the Virgin Mary and the mystery of God’s plan in sending the Messiah as a helpless babe to be a servant-King. The mournful minor key is intended to convey a sense of a foreshadowing of the trials and death that this newborn Child would face in the years to come.
