The Church Is Built Upon the Rock

Accompaniment - ["Piano"]

“The Church Is Built Upon the Rock” is an anthem of faith and power rooted in the bold promise of Matthew 16:18–19. The anthem takes on a declarative tone, fitting for worship celebrations, ecclesiastical gatherings, cornerstone or church anniversary services. With soaring phrases and call-and-response moments, it lends itself naturally to orchestral and pipe organ accompaniment, giving depth and grandeur to the message. The anthem structure allows for dynamic build-up—beginning with the resolute scriptural proclamation, a rubato solo section of theological explication, and culminating into an emphatic choral declaration of faith.
