God, You Made All Things for Singing

 “God, you made all things for singing” echoes Psalm 148 in inviting all of God’s creation to respond in praise, here imagined as parts of a vast hymn. The final stanza asks God to work in us to make our song one with his own. This piece was composed for the 2025 Music Sunday at Easter Lutheran Church in Eagan, Minnesota. The tuba doubling in measures 24–35 is optional but is provided to assist in retaining pitch. Alternately, the organist may support the choir through this same passage by softly repeating the accompaniment in measures 8–20.
