This piece draws upon the musical language of water pieces by Liszt, Vierne, and Ravel, and brings this inspiration into the current day. Ideal as a recital piece, it would also serve well at liturgical events which call for something evocative. Listeners will simultaneously enjoy the harmonic colors while their ears are stretched a bit. Clear direction from the composer will helpfully assist performers in their preparation.
