Echoes from a Russian Cathedral

Penning another superb entry to his Master Transcriptions for Young Bands series, Ken Singleton has created a beautiful set of two of Tchaikovsky's sacred works, Legend and The Grace of Peace. Besides being transposed down a whole step, the musical materials are as Tchaikovsky wrote them. This set is a perfect way for bands to experience playing in an emotional choral style – with purity of tone, smooth connection of notes, and an equal balance and blend between all four vocal lines.
